Experience does not equal competence
Undoubtedly! You can collect intercultural experience in practice. You can develop competence with the method of “trial & error“. But: Did you also learn how to drive a car with this method? Consciously increase your capacity to act: with the help of an experienced “driving instructor“ or – like the professionals – in good “safe driving trainings“.
KOMPRENI practices with you the safe progress and efficient orientation within the intercultural course of business.
We connect you: Entrepreneurs, executives, lawyers, physicians, politicians and diplomats from all over the world practice alongside with you in culturally mixed groups of between 10 and 14 participants. That is fun, yields valuable contacts and creates lasting impressions. All trainings are designed experience-oriented according to the latest scientific expertise and create an intercultural exchange between participants – moderated by competent trainers!
Our curriculum was developed by
internationally experienced consultants and trainers for practical usage.
Thanks to the interdisciplinary content and tutorials you quickly understand
what is important in intercultural communication. Through repeated training
phases – transfer of knowledge, practice and discussion, self-evaluation,
“extrinsic reflection“ and “self-reflection“ – you efficiently achieve, step by
step, best results in the development of your intercultural competence.
Our training elements (see also right column) are modular and complement each other:
Basic Training
In the Basic Training you acquire the “intercultural driver's licence“. You become aware of the „functionality, rules and risks within intercultural exchange“. As a cross-cultural training, it thoroughly prepares you for meeting and communicating with people from different cultures. With this well-founded basis, you subsequently orientate yourself faster and more confidently within other cultures. You know how to further increase your competence in a targeted manner in your daily routine. You acquire more agility to develop new perspectives and utilise them in order to creatively solve tasks and challenges.
Management Trainings
The modules “Intercultural Management” and “Top Executive Training” likewise are cross-cultural trainings. In addition to the contents of the Basic Training, specific management issues are dealt with (please find details in the corresponding training).
Culture-specific Trainings
Before attempting a culture-specific training, you should have completed at least one of our cross-cultural trainings. Based on this, in a culture-specific training you learn to target and further optimise your capacity to act regarding the cooperation and communication with people from a specific cultural region.
In order to speedily make you familiar with the cultural characteristics of the respective region, these advanced trainings take place within the “circulation” of your target region. There, you hone your perception and your capability to act creatively and self-organised in – often difficult – operational situations with unknown outcome through reflection of the experiences you made.
